SCHOOL GUIDELINES 

Friends of The Rapport Lab., following we outline a number of rules and guidelines tat we are confident will help us in the smooth running of our classes.

At The Rapport Lab. we are open to resolve any of your doubts, questions or problems.




SCHEDULE AND ATTENDANCE

Typically, our courses run from September to July. Throughout these months, our programme operates on a progressive learning schedule. Due to this, we do not recommend interrupting this schedule for one month or longer.

At The Rapport Lab. School, we follow the working calendar of the Community of Madrid. This means that no classes take place during national holidays as well as bank holidays of the Community or City of Madrid and no classes will be rescheduled.

During August, we take a break from our continuous courses, in order to give way to our summer intensive courses.

If the school has to cancel any class during the academic year, we are obligated to reschedule the missed class. This takes place either through scheduling another class on a day convenient to all students, or through giving the option of attending any other established class.

All our teachers are active working professionals. Due to this, it can at times be unavoidable taht teachers have to carry out work outside of the school. In these cases, The Rapport Lab. is responsible for covering these classes with another teacher.

Please be puntual, both when arriving and leaving your class. This is to ensure the smooth running of classes, as well as allowing sufficient time for the disinfection and hygiene procedure between class.

If you miss a class due to personal reasons, you can make up for this through advance reservation of a place in any of the other groups in the usual timetable. This can be managed through the following link:  “RESERVE ONLINE” (Classes not rescheduled within three months of missing a lesson will expire)

As per COVID protocol, if you have Covid symptoms or you have been in contact with a Covid-positive person, you are required to inform us of this and you will not be able to attend class. The missed classes can be reschedules as per the process lined out above.

To keep your place for the following academic year, you have to subscribe to the September corse and confirm the group you wish to attend before the current academic year ends, i.e. during July.


If you wish to cancel your place in the course it is required  to please give 15 days advance notice. This is to allow for sufficient time to give your place to another student, s certain groups already have waiting lists.


For this reason, if you decide to cancel during a month, and it is not for a medical reason, we cannot guarantee your palace during the following month.



PRICE LIST AND FORMS OF PAYMENT


  • 65€ per month for two hours of class weekly (Monday-Friday)
  • 75€ per month for three hours of class weekly

Payment is due within the first 5 days of each month.

Registration fee: 20€ is required to join the course

Course capacity: 

  • Classroom 1 (upstairs) 7 students maximum capacity.
  • Classroom 2 (downstairs) 8 students maximum capacity.

Payment process:  you can pay through two different means:

MATERIALS

In our classrooms, we have certain tools for communal use, such as:

  • The school is equipped with sewing machines, one per student (8 max)

  • Pattern rulers.

  • Measuring tapes.

  • Fabric and paper scissors.

  • Sewing pattern paper.

  • Thread in a variety of colours. 

  • Any other material used in class is the responsibility of the student.

  • The materials provided must be respected and cared for, so that they can be used by all students.
